This upper lid is excessively easy to evert by traction. This is a sign of the floppy eyelid syndrome, which can cause chronic ocular irritation. It is associated with sleep apnoea, and its associated cardiovascular risks. Hence, it is important to diagnose this condition as well as to arrange sleep studies for patients with it.
